Hunting with Helmet Cams

Helmet cams are so cool because they make it possible to see things you otherwise would never get a chance to see. In hunting situations you can use helmet cams during the hunt to capture the scene and action of you own hunts. Some hunters will use more than one helmet cam, so they can get different perspectives of the action. Just because a it's called a helmet cam doesn't mean you cannot use the camera in different situations. If you're hunting from a tree stand, a cool thing to do is place a few cams around at ground level pointing towards the area where it's most likely the animal will be when it comes near your tree stand.

If you have the funds, buying three, four or five helmet cams might be fun. Set three up on the ground and point in the areas you think the animal, in this case a whitetail, is like to go near your blind or tree stand. Then wear the 4th helmet cam on your head, attached securely so that it points in the direction you're facing. When the deer shows up, you'll get four different possible angles, hopefully more than one will be in perfect position for you to capture all the action of your hunt.

When you're done, always be sure to collect your helmet cams, unless you're very confident nobody will take them once you leave. Helmet cams are expensive and it seems stealing cameras, trail cams, has become a much bigger problem than it used to be. Use good software for creating converting the footage you captured into a finished video. You'll love the quality and ease of use you get from todays advanced helmet cams.
